Wilson Savoy, son of Marc Savoy, performed Sunday afternoon in Eunice with Coz Fontenot, whose old-style, high-pitched vocals provided the crowd with a taste of Cajun music from many years ago. Richard Burgess is shown on guitar and Kevin Courville on fiddle.

Performing on the Walnut Street stage was one a Cajun band that dates back to 1947 when Lionel Cormier formed the Sundown Playboys. Today, the band is headed by his son, Lesa Cormier on drums.  On accordion is one of the great Cajun vocalists, August Broussard. Other members are Wallace Touchet on fiddle; Larry Miller on steel guitar; and Brian Cormier (Lesa's grandson) on bass guitar. In late 2002, the group released a new CD, Back Home Memories, recorded by Acadiana Records in Eunice.
